Gaining weight in a healthy way is equally important. Some ways to gain weight in a satisfactory way are as follows:

  • The most important thing to take care of is don’t stuff yourself with anything in a spirit to gain weight. Eating in a way to increase muscle weight should be our main motive.
  • Stay away from fast food! While it will fatten you up, it is usually loaded with harmful trans fat. You should choose foods fried in liquid, non hydrogenated oil. It is equally fattening, and much healthier.
  • The protein supplies your body with the raw materials that it needs to add lean muscle tissue. Extra carbs are needed to prevent protein from being wasted as energy, allowing the protein to do its job of fueling the lean muscle development. Fat lubricates your joints is used for energy and with out it your not eating a healthy productive diet. Ok so how much Protein, Fat, and Carbs should I be taking in?     * Carbohydrates should be eaten at 4 – 5 grams per pound that you weigh

  • Try to replace sugar sparingly with honey. Take honey 2-3 spoonful with one glass of milk .Chew the morsel till it is liquid and then only take another in mouth. This will greatly control your food intake and give your mouth good exercise. It will also be fewer burdens on your digestion system and your food will directly become blood .this again will give you more energy and nourishment.
  • Eat Frequently If you have food just for one or two times than it slows down the weight gain since it makes you feel that your stomach is full. Go for smaller meals and snacks throughout the day since it increases the food intake of our body.
  • Move a portion of your calorie intake to later in the night, but at least two hours before bedtime.
  • Drink lots of water. Inactive people should drink about 2% of their body weight, full-time active people should drink 6% or more (and up to 10%). Most people fall into part-time active (daily sports or working out), and should drink somewhere in between based on your activities, the amount of heat you are exposed to or other variables.
  • Make your calories count. Don't fill your stomach with "empty" calories such as chips, pretzels and other treats. Instead have some sliced turkey, a handful of peanuts, yogurt, etc. Make every calorie a worthwhile calorie.
  • Sleep also affects your metabolism. keep a regular sleeping pattern to have an easier time storing nutrients as muscle.
  • An exercise like aerobics can slow a person's pulse rate, increase the volume of blood in the body, and even result in more efficient breathing for the person. Activities such as, running, walking, swimming, dancing, playing basketball and riding a bicycle are just a few of the many different aerobic exercises.
