How To Take Care Of A Muscle Pull


  1. Rest n avoid strain on the pulled muscle. dont move the area at all.
  2. Put ice on the muscle for not more than 15 minutes every hour. The ice will help decrease swelling and pain. Use ice frequently during the first few days after injury.
  3. Wrap the injured area with a bandage to help control the swelling and prevent any unwanted movement.
  4. Avoid applying heat to the injured muscle. Heat will increase blood flow and swelling to the injured area.
  5. Rest as much as possible. Follow a good diet, providing ur mucles with the necessary nutrients and resources to repair themselves, such as carbohydrates, proteins n fibre.
  6. Introduce stretching and range of motion movements after several days of rest. Dont stretch or move beyond ur mucles' limits. Overtime, u will see increased flexibility and will be able to move that area.
